The Writing Center is staffed by undergraduate peer tutors who help students in all concentrations with course writing assignments and fellowship/grant/graduate school applications. Tutors are selected based on a demonstrated record of academic excellence across multiple fields, a writing sample, a letter of interest, and a rigorous interview.
To apply to be a writing tutor, you must be a current Harvard undergraduate student. We will begin reviewing applications on May 3, 2017. To apply, please submit the following materials as a merged PDF, if possible, to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 3.
1) A letter of interest.
2) A resume.
3) A writing sample. (This should be a paper that you wrote for Harvard course. You do not need to include your instructor's comments.)
4) A transcript. (This can be your unofficial transcript.)
